Once in a while the East coast excepts it’s reputation for a freezing and snowy winter and we’re getting a beautiful spring day. I used the opportunity and had to get out one of my favorite Blazer. I just love the bright color and can’t wait to wear it more often again.

The third Spring 2012 trend in my “Would you wear it?” series is, in my opinion the most wearable trend. Actually it’s not really new but designers reinvented the color and show that there are endless ways to wear a dramatic red.

Red lipstick works for any skin type and hair color and there is all different kind of shades and finishes. My current favorite is MAC’s Morange which is great for day and night.
Since I’ve found my love for Sigma Brushes I did not stop using them and decided to order another set. Sigma has so many choices that it’s difficult to make a dicision. I’ve decided to order another Face kit and ordered the Synthetic Kabuki Set. The set comes with 4 Brushes and I can definitely say that this set became my favorite face brushes.
The brushes don’t shed and blend in both liquid and powder makeup very well. My last posting about an upcoming trend for Spring 2012 was rather unusual but I think this one is definitely wearable. Designers like Marc Jacobs, Luis Vuitton or Mulberry have already shown this look in their shows and upcoming adds and I think this trend is not just for the Runways. The colors get me excited for the nicer and brighter days.
I used to watch MTV’s “The Hills” and “The City” and one of my favorite girls on the shows was Whitney Port. I love her style and I think she has a great style, at least most of the time. I picked a couple of her styles and want to show how you could dress like Whitney on a budget.

As I mentioned in my December post, I wasn’t too happy with my Birchbox. The products were tiny and I would probably say the worst samples I’ve received in my boxes. So I thought New Year, new luck and I can say that I definitely like this month’ products a lot better.

I recently came across the Parisian graphic designer Vahram Muratyan and his beautiful work. After a New York City visit he created “Paris vs. New York“. It’s a travel journal where he compares his unique observation of the two brilliant cities.
I was able to visit Paris last year. The city is really nice and I hope I can go back sometime. NYC on the other side is my all time favorite city so I can’t decide which one is better.

I recently came across some Beauty and Style tips for Spring 2012 and bright Eyeshadow was one of the Trends. I like to brighten up my Makeup sometimes but I am not sure if I would follow this trend.

Are you looking for an alternative for Mac’s Paint Pot or Make up Forever’s Aqua Cream? Then Maybelline might have something you will like. Maybelline just added a great product to their line. The colors are vibrant and range from natural to bright. I’m not sure if I will need my eyeshadow to last 24 hr but you never know. There are 10 different colors and I’ve picked up these 4.
The eyeshadow’s are highly pigmented and look really pretty! I’ve used them as a base under powder eyeshadow so far but the colors are definitely worth to be worn on their own. The prices range from $5.99 – 7.49 and they come in a .14 oz jar.
