The third Spring 2012 trend in my “Would you wear it?” series is, in my opinion the most wearable trend. Actually it’s not really new but designers reinvented the color and show that there are endless ways to wear a dramatic red.
Red lipstick works for any skin type and hair color and there is all different kind of shades and finishes. My current favorite is MAC’s Morange which is great for day and night.
I recently came across some Beauty and Style tips for Spring 2012 and bright Eyeshadow was one of the Trends. I like to brighten up my Makeup sometimes but I am not sure if I would follow this trend.
The looks were seen at Shows from Miu Mio, Rebecca Taylor and Richard Taylor. As we all know Runway looks are usually over the top but are bright Eye makeups wearable?
If you like the new trend try out some of these palettes

Are you looking for an alternative for Mac’s Paint Pot or Make up Forever’s Aqua Cream? Then Maybelline might have something you will like. Maybelline just added a great product to their line. The colors are vibrant and range from natural to bright. I’m not sure if I will need my eyeshadow to last 24 hr but you never know. There are 10 different colors and I’ve picked up these 4.The eyeshadow’s are highly pigmented and look really pretty! I’ve used them as a base under powder eyeshadow so far but the colors are definitely worth to be worn on their own. The prices range from $5.99 – 7.49 and they come in a .14 oz jar.
Let me know which colors you’ve picked up.
I went to the mall this weekend and picked up some stuff at MAC and Sephora. I also got my Sigma brushes. I have only used the foundation brush so far but I will review the brushes after using them for some time. I ordered the complete Brush Kit. If you’re still thinking if you should get the brushes, make sure you use the code DEC2011 to get 10% off & a free gift when you purchase $30 or more.
The Benefit legally Bronze kit is a really good deal. It includes High Beam, Hoola, Gilded (gold highlighter) & BADgal Brown mascara. The products are all full size.
Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer. This is very similar to Benefit’s POREfessional so I’m not sure if I’m really in love yet.
Sephora by OPI nail strips
Zara Perfume Iris & Fresia
Mineralize Skinfinish (light Plus) & Mineralize Foundation SPF 15 (NC 15)
So far I like the foundation. It feels really nice & moisturizing on my skin. I’ll see if I have the same opinion in a couple of weeks and review it then again.
Morange Lipstick (Amplified Finish) – I love this color. It’s a orangey-red. None of the lipsticks I have are similar to this one.

Finding the right Makeup is never easy. At least it isn’t for me. I’ve been looking for the right Makeup since years. Yes, you’re reading right – years. I’ve tried all different brands, shades, finishes – whatever there is I’ve tried it & I can’t say that I’ve found the perfect foundation yet. I don’t know why & I don’t think I’m expecting too much from a makeup but non of the foundations I’ve tried so far really blew me away. I’ve tried all different kind of high end brands like Chanel, Clinique, Lancome, Mac as well as drugstore brands like Covergirl, Maybelline or Revlon. I’ve liked most of these foundations (the photo shows only some I’ve recently tried) but usually they made my skin dry and flaky. I never order foundations online and I rather pick up a bottle at the counter than a drugstore just because I like to make sure I’m getting the right shade & I hate that most drugstores don’t have samples and if they do, the light usually isn’t the best to find the right shade.
So all I’m looking for is a foundation that doesn’t dry out my skin, lasts for most of the day and gives me a good coverage. I’m heading over to a MAC counter this weekend to try out the Mineralize Foundation. I know it’s one of MAC’s more expensive Makeups & I will try it out in the store to see if I like it & hopefully that will be one that impresses me.
